Join us for a day of history, fun, and community spirit at the Wayne County Historical Society’s Annual Spring Open House on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at 810 Main Street, Honesdale. This free event is perfect for all ages and offers an exciting opportunity to explore Wayne County’s rich history.

At the Open House, visitors can:

• Explore our fascinating exhibits, including the new exhibit opening for the first time to the public. More details to come!!! 
• Participate in the Hands-on History Lab, where kids can interact with history through engaging activities.
• Shop for unique gifts and collectibles at the Museum Gift Shop.
• Visit our Research Library and learn about the resources available for genealogists, historians, and researchers.
• Meet our Board of Trustees, staff, and dedicated volunteers who make history come to life.

Main Museum Reopens May 7, 2025!
We’re excited to announce that the Wayne County Historical Society’s Main Museum will reopen for the busy season starting May 7, 2025. The Museum will be open Wednesday to Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We look forward to welcoming visitors to explore our expanded collection of historical exhibits and special events.
